Hello, Hello, Hello my Crafty Friends!
I have been an official scrapbooker for the past 12 years! Originally, I traditionally created photo album scrapbooks by cutting magazines, using stickers and searching for any colorful paper I could get my hands on in the early 1980's and it progressed in 1995 as I tried to capture all the firsts with the birth of my eldest son. My official first introduction to scrapbooking as a hobby came in the form of a Creative Memories party in 2001. It was so much fun that I decided to become a consultant. Eventually I ventured off to local scrapbook stores on my own. . I soon gathered an army of family and friends and held my own classes at home. It was so much fun!
I’m married to Jose…the love of my life for 20 years. I’m blessed with THREE wonderful, high energetic boys, David, Jason and Ethan. I love them dearly. We also have two pooches; a 12 year old Chihuahua named, Toby and our 5 years old ShiChi, Molly that I adopted in May 2012. With mostly all boys in the house all this lovely craziness has helped me envision projects through the help of craft therapy!
I love painting with acrylics, watercolor, gesso, pastels and many other mediums. This has inspired me to unwrap my creative side that's developed in specializing with handmade crafts. I create various scrapbook pages, cards, mini albums and canvas layouts. I'm a self proclaimed "paper hoarder"... I just love paper! I am usually off to crop retreat with friends. I don't have a crop room but I often take over part of our living room and dining room with stash of inventory that I haul around to crops with friends. Scrapbook Crops:I call it my drug of choice
